The Call for Congressional Hearings

Hugh Hewitt is suggesting that we contact the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the internet to ask for Congressional Hearings into the CBS forgeries, the same kind of hearings that were conducted for Howard Stern and the Super Bowl.

I tried to do this but many of the congressman will not allow emails from folks outside their distrcts (there are no Reps on the committee from the Ohio 17th). So, here is the list of Subcommittee members. If you live in any of those districts you can easily email them and request the hearings. Here is an example (it's the email I sent to one of the ohio reps.)
I am writing to request that you and the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet consider conducting congressional hearings regarding the forged Documents aired by CBS on 60 Minutes on Wednesday September 8th,
2004. CBS is continuing to pass these documents off as truth while individuals and media worldwide are investigating their authenticity. It is irresponsible journalism for CBS to not have begun an immediate investigation into the source and origin of these documents. I urge you to move quickly on this endeavor.
Thank you.

You can call or write also if you want, but email is by far the easiest and there are no 800 numbers that I have found.
Again, if you live outside the Ohio 17th, your rep might be on the list as there are other Ohio reps and the subcommittee is fairly large.
